The Stud Feed System
The vibrating bowl feeds the studs onto a linear vibrator allowing them to fall thread downward.
They vibrate along to the shuttle mechanism which will only allow one stud at a time to be positioned over the exit tube.
Once over the exit tube the stud is blown down the umbilical tube into the feed head.
Sensors on the linear vibrator maintain a supply of studs to the shuttle but prevent the bowl from over feeding.
