 The Unique classical ‘U’ shaped Cellular manufacturing process consists of a fully automated transfer system incorporating an in-line wire drawer, 5 station cold former with an in-tool process monitoring unit, integrated with an automated conveyor feed system to transfer the product from the cold forming machines into the in–line tapping stations, supported by sensors and poke –yoke prevention systems through to the centrifugal spin cycle and final collection bin.
The inspection and total quality control process is supplemented by a networked Statistical process control computer hardware and software system, automatically capturing the product dimensional and variable attribute checks conducted at constant and regular frequencies to ensure total quality compliance to the product specifications during manufacture.
In addition, Bas quality is further enhanced at the final processing stage by an additional 100% dedicated and specific quality sorting equipment designed to filter defective product through a series of ‘state of the art’ software controlled optical & vision camera systems fed by a rotating bowl feeder and direct in line packaging to prevent product contamination.
This system offers world-class ppm levels, flexibility and enhanced quality to customers requiring and demanding zero ppm and guaranteed levels of high quality for their products.
